I was driving past the beaches one day last year and I noticed this lone boat moored off the shoreline. It captured my imagination. What a perfect place that was – in the water feeling the tide ebb and flow, able to be in the sun on the deck, or retreat to the cabin. It was also only about 200 feet out into the water so it would be easy to come ashore, dry out in the sun or change into clothes you bring along in a waterproof bag.
