Moving East

July of 2019 I finally was able to move back to the east coast. I spent most of my time driving, and a lot of the scenery was the same, but I did take a few images along the way.

A couple of sunrise pictures from Monday morning, July 22, 2019. These were in Winnemucca, Nevada.
Have you ever driven through Nevada? Yes, there’s Las Vegas, Reno, a few other populated places here and there but most of it open land. It seems desolate and beautiful at the same time. And it can be hours upon hours of seeing the same thing.
Bonneville Salt Flats rest stop. Similar to driving through Nevada, it was just miles and miles of salt on both sides of the highway and the strip in between. Again, desolate but beautiful.
You just have to love it when Google maps tells you to stay on the same road for the next 846 miles.
On my way to the Beaches of Cheyenne. Rte 80, near Rock Springs, WY.
Naaa...just keeping it at 60.
Coming across Nebraska, the wind fed warriors ever vigilant over the plains & cattle.
That exit seemed a little cloudy but it was smokin’ hot.

I can’t believe how many miles I’ve driven and seen nothing but corn.
