When many performers would have cancelled due to heavy rain, this guy probably thought, “cool, a great effect for one of my songs.” And Prince performed. I remember seeing this half-time on TV. It was great. We lost an epic talent when Prince died. An actual musician, one who wrote songs, wrote music, and played some 2 dozen instruments. He not only rose to the top, but Prince knew that to rise so high he had to take others with him. Where so many of today’s celebrities dis each other, Prince mentored, wrote for, and produced other artists. No scandals. A lot of Prince’s music was very sexual yet he performed on the Muppets and Sesame Street. Happy birthday Prince.
